UNDER THE WEATHER // GAS PRICES // COMET GAZING
THE APOLOGY:
I’m feeling under the weather, unfortunately. No podcast today. I offer my sincere apologies!
THE NEWS TIPS:
Between now and Monday, two news tips to flag for you…
→ Gas Prices: We’re seeing a shocking set of gas price numbers in the Midwest. Upwards of $1 gallon increase by Sunday, higher in some places. Exact cause a bit murky; probably refinery related. If your tank is coming empty and you’re in one of the following states, you might want to fill up ASAP. (Missouri, Oklahoma, the Dakotas, Kansas, Minnesota, and Nebraska.)

→ Comet: Grab your binoculars because on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll be able to see a newly discovered comet that won’t be back for another 437 years. Look to the heavens in an easterly direction — low on the horizon — and you’ll see the comet with a faint green-ish tail. You’ll have a better look with binos or a telescope but it’ll be visible with the naked eye in areas without city lights.
Pretty neat, and a reminder of how small we are in the universe.

See you Monday! Again, my apologies.

Thanks for all the good cheer. And yes, I'm working on getting a side-kick to fill in and supplement efforts. As Roger S. noted, better to have somebody in the foxhole with me.
Onward!
Rest and God bless!
